Objectives
This was a project from my first term in the Design Formation program. The objective was to create a brand based on three randomly assigned words. One word would be an animal, another the company’s area of business, and the third an adjective. My words were Phoenix, Gaming, and Modern.
Rationale
I named the brand “Fogo” (Portuguese for “fire”)—concise yet evocative of the Phoenix concept. The color palette blends flame hues with gaming aesthetics: vibrant blue (representing intense flame), fiery orange-red, and bright yellow. This combination captures both the Phoenix’s dynamism and appeals to the gaming market. Typography features a modern, bold, italic font suggesting movement and evolution. The Phoenix logo employs a simplified silhouette with elegant strokes, intentionally facing rightward to symbolize forward-thinking and future orientation—aligning perfectly with the modern gaming industry.
